*NEW* - The Backyard Botanica Silken Body Balm is a concentrated botanical balm with a glossy finish, velvety glide, and beautifully protective skin feel.
At its heart is extra-rich olive oil slowly infused with white clover, Creeping Charlie, strawberry leaves, and fleabane — all hand-gathered from Apothecary Addict's own grounds! These familiar backyard botanicals give the balm its unique sense of place and connect the finished product directly to the plants growing just outside our door.
Spring gathered. Summer steeped. Autumn ready. The botanicals for Backyard Botanica are gathered from my own grounds in spring, allowed to slowly infuse through the warmer months, and finally transformed into balm as the garden begins its turn toward fall.
Rich tamanu oil adds naturally earthy botanical character, while generous amounts of organic jojoba oil infused with frankincense and myrrh — give the balm its elegant, silken glide.
Raw, unrefined shea butter adds richness and conditioning while helping create the velvety feel that makes The Backyard Botanica Silken Body Balm distinctly different from my more traditional salves and balms.
Raw beeswax gives the balm structure and creates a protective layer that helps seal moisture into dry skin. The finished balm is concentrated, glossy, and silky rather than soft and scoopable.
A little goes a long way.
Simply glide a fingertip over the surface of the balm, warm that small amount against the skin, and massage it in wherever extra conditioning and protection are desired.
The aroma is earthy and botanical:
Lavender and clary sage provide the herbal-floral heart.
Orange adds fresh citrus brightness.
Ylang ylang contributes soft floral depth.
A touch of clove brings warmth.
Frankincense, myrrh, tamanu, raw shea, beeswax, and the long botanical infusion create the deep, earthy foundation underneath it all.

HOW TO USE:
Glide a fingertip lightly over the surface.
