A uniquely desert-inspired body bar featuring the curative and healing desert chaparral, sustainably wild-crafted in and around the vibrant Sonoran Desert. Long celebrated for its skin-soothing and restorative qualities, chaparral carries the unmistakable, grounding aroma of the desert after rainfall—fresh, earthy, and quietly intoxicating.
The chaparral in this bar is hand-harvested, dried, and sifted by me in Arizona, then gently sun-infused for a minimum of six weeks in non-GMO, cold-pressed grape seed oil, slowly extracting both its nourishing properties and subtle desert scent.
Thoughtfully formulated using raw, unrefined shea butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, unrefined coconut oil, jojoba oil, and non-GMO avocado oil, this cold-process soap produces a rich, conditioning lather that cleanses without stripping. A textured layer of chaparral-powder-infused soap adds exfoliation for renewed, smooth skin.
Delicately scented. Refreshing. Rare. A true homage to the Sonoran Desert—crafted for those who cherish nature in its most honest and elemental form. The Desert Chaparral Soap Bar - enjoy!

--- 🌵 Benefits of Chaparral 🌵 ---
🌵 Chaparral (Larrea tridentata) has long been used in Indigenous and folk medicine of the American Southwest for its topical skin-supporting properties. Traditionally applied in poultices, washes, and salves to help soothe minor skin irritations and promote overall skin health.
🌵 Soothing + Restorative: Rich in naturally occurring plant compounds, chaparral helps calm redness, irritation, and dry, stressed skin.
🌵 Antioxidant Support: Contains nordihydroguaiaretic acid (NDGA) and other antioxidants that help protect skin from environmental stressors and free radicals.
🌵 Antimicrobial + Clarifying: Traditionally valued for antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, helping keep skin balanced, refreshed, and cared-for.
🌵 Aromatic Connection to Nature: Chaparral carries the grounding, earthy scent of the desert after rainfall, bringing a subtle sensory reminder of the Sonoran Desert into your self-care ritual.
🌵 In salve form: Chaparral infused in oil and blended into a salve creates a nourishing, protective layer that supports the skin’s natural renewal and comfort.
🌵 In soap form: Chaparral soap offers a gentle, exfoliating cleanse while delivering its skin-soothing, earthy, and aromatic benefits with every use.
