Mafura butter is a natural oil/butter extracted from the seeds of the Trichilia emetica tree, and a rich source of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. It is an excellent moisturizer for the skin (and hair), and prized for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties - making it ideal to treat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Also featured in this bar is unrefined mongongo oil from Southern Africa. Mongongo oil (Schinziophyton rautanenii) is also known as manketti oil and is also high in fatty acids, which act as a barrier to lock in moisture for skin (and hair). Formulated in a base of organic extra virgin olive, organic extra virgin coconut, and organic sunflower seed oils for a rich and soft lather!
