The Stingy Jack Bar is named after the original Irish legend of Stingy Jack, for which the Jack-o-Lantern (a sure sign of the Halloween season) is named! The practice of decorating pumpkins originated in Ireland, born of the folk tale of Stingy Jack - AKA Drunk Jack, Jack the Smith, and Jack O' Lantern. According to lore, Stingy Jack had somewhat of a trickster nature and reputation...so notorious, that he was even able to deceive the devil himself! Due to Jack's deceptive and cheating nature, at death, his soul was not allowed to enter heaven nor hell...leaving him to forever roam the realms of good and evil in this world, with only a flame placed in a hollowed "rutabaga" (pumpkin) to illuminate his way. The Stingy Jack Bar was created to capture this original tale of the Jack O' Lantern! 🎃 Formulated in a base of honeyed amber (infused in organic olive oil) and topped off with an undeniably warm and embery 100% natural autumnal EO blend of patchouli, bitter orange, cinnamon, vetiver, clove, ginger, anise, nutmeg, and 100 year old aged cade (luxuriously smoky). How to store and extend the life of your soap between uses: Store soaps in a dry area, away from moisture. Due to the high gylcerin content of handmade soaps, allow your soap to drain in between uses.
